Rose has been practicing Acupuncture in Tauranga since 2019. She is a Chinese Medicine Practitioner of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine registered with Chinese Medicine Council of NZ, an Acupuncture NZ registered practitioner, an ACC treatment provider, and is Veteran Certified to provide acupuncture for Veterans in NZ experiencing chronic pain and trauma symptoms.

Rose trained in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine completing her degree in 2018. During her training she completed a practicum in pregnancy and post-partum acupuncture at Hutt Hospital Maternity Clinic in Wellington. Alongside studying Acupuncture she has trained in a Mindful and Somatic Psychotherapy known as Hakomi. Rose is also a Certified Healing Birth Practitioner.

Prior to studying Acupuncture and other holistic approaches to healing, Rose completed a Bachelors in Biomedical Science and a Masters in Human Nutrition at the University of Otago.

Rose’s therapeutic approach is guided by an understanding that we all have an innate healing impulse within us which helps us on our journey to well-being and self-understanding. Her intention is to help facilitate a connection to this healing impulse and offer treatment which is individually tailored to you. Rose holds an awareness in the importance of attuning to our need to feel safe when working somatically with the whole bodymind. She offers an opportunity for you to experience bodymind awareness gaining insight into physical or emotional pain, or difficulties you may be facing.
