Booking an Appointment

Please note our practice is available by appointment only.

If you are unable to find a time that suits you please do get in touch as I may be able to offer you an alternative time to what is available online.

Please make sure you agree to our payment and cancellation policy before booking an appointment. You can find the payment and cancellation policy and further information about appointments by scrolling to the bottom of this page. You are welcome to get in touch if you have any questions before booking an appointment. We also have a FAQ page, if you have further questions or queries about acupuncture treatment before making a booking

If this is your first time booking an appointment you will receive an email confirming your appointment and requesting you complete an initial consent and information form before attending your appointment.

Payment Policy

Payment can be made when you make a booking via secure credit card processing (Stripe) if you would like to prepay for your appointment. Alternatively, payment is requested on the day of your appointment. Payment options are: online bank transfer or cash if you are paying on the day of your appointment. If you require an invoice or receipt I can send this to you via email on the day of your appointment.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you are unable to attend your appointment with less than 48 hours notice you will be charged the full payment of your session. Payment is due on receipt of an invoice on the day of your missed appointment. Considerations may be made if you are genuinely unable to attend your appointment due to labour onset, an emergency, or illness. Please note, if for any reason you are running more than 15 mins late, and you have not let Practitioner Rose know, she may not be able to reschedule your appointment or offer a shorter treatment if she has another client booked soon after. For this reason, your appointment may need to be cancelled if you are more than 15 mins late.

Student Treatment Fee

Available for students aged 12 - 18 y, and tertiary students ($100 for 1 hr). For children aged 0 - 12 yrs, please book under Child Acupuncture.

ACC Treatments

For your injury to be accepted by ACC you first need to have your injury assessed by a GP or other medical doctor, osteopath, physiotherapist or chiropractor. If your injury has been accepted by ACC, and is within 1 year since the date of the injury, you are eligible to have acupuncture treatment alongside any other ACC - funded treatment you may be having. Please bring your ACC claim details with you to your initial appointment. ACC cover for birth injuries is not currently available for acupuncture treatments. For more information about how to get ACC support after a birth injury you can find this on the ACC website, or chat with your midwife/LMC or medical doctor.

Disability Allowance - WINZ

If you are wanting acupuncture treatment to help with mental health support, or if you have a health condition and you are unable to work full-time, it is possible to ask your GP for assistance around seeking WINZ support to help cover cost of acupuncture treatment. For more information feel free to get in touch with us, or chat with your GP about what support is available for you.
