The name Aldebaran Healing was chosen in remembrance to the heavens from which humanity draws guidance, inspiration and healing.
Aldebaran refers to the fixed star Aldebaran - the brightest star in the constellation of Taurus. Aldebaran comes from the Arabic name, Al Dabarān, and translates as ‘the follower’ of Pleiades, or Matariki as it is known here in Aotearoa. In Māori culture Aldebaran is named Whetū-kura and also Taumata-kuku.
